Yup, still on vacation! Here’s a little poem from my second collection, Between the Heron and the Moss:

Sunbathing

     The stained glass gecko 
has a head the color of the sea.

     His triangle legs and emerald toes seem to race
across tangerine stones, like glowing coals. 

Its tail, crescent of rubies and garnet gems…
